Adelaide Independent Taxis (AIT) is a subsidiary of the Co-operative Taxi Cabs Society Limited and is owned and run by a dedicated fleet of cab owners that are committed to the long-term success of our business.

 The Co-operative was established in 1987 and since then it has represented taxicab proprietors on all issues concerning the transport of passengers by motor vehicles.

 AIT commenced its operation on the 24 October 1991 with a fleet size of 28 vehicles and since that time we have grown to become South Australia?s largest taxi company with a fleet of over 360 taxis.

 All our taxi owners and drivers are accredited by the Department of Transport, Energy and Infrastructure and conform in all aspects with the Passenger Transport Act 1994 and the Road Traffic Act 1959.
