Adelaide Independent Taxi Services (AIT) was established in 1991, as the first and only taxi co-operative in Adelaide. It is owned and run by a co-operative of taxi owners and operators making it wholly South Australian.

We have grown to become the largest taxi fleet in Adelaide, comprising of over 330 general purpose taxis, up to 70 Maxi Taxis and 97 Wheelchair Accessible Taxis.

We are proud to offer our services to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with a strong focus on safety, reliability, convenience and efficiency.

All our taxi operators are accredited by the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure and conform in all aspects with the Passenger Transport Act 1994 and the Road Traffic Act 1961.
